Introduction

Rhthermo is providing HVAC services (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) to the entire campus (300,000 square meters) of the Taiyuan University. Rhthermo has placed more than 3,000 Internet of Things (IoT) HAVC devices and temperature-controlled sensors on campus. I developed GIS shapefiles and interactive maps & dashboards for asset management.

GIS Shapefile Development

Develop GIS shapefiles for the 26 buildings on campus according to CAD drawings. And more than 3,000 devices are geocoded into the developed building map according to their geographic information coordinates.

Campus Level Interactive Map

Develop campus-level interactive maps using the javascript library. Users can view the operation of the entire project.

Building Level Interactive Map & Dashboard

Cooperate with developers to develop 2.5D interactive maps to assist users in operation and management more intuitively.

Intuitive hierarchical structure, more quickly locate problematic equipment.

The pop-up box can display more operational information, including room name, location, equipment information, operating status, real-time temperature, set temperature, update time, etc.

The dashboards at the three levels of building, floor, and room have different statistical content, which is helpful for operation and maintenance personnel to set heating modes and temperatures, view historical data, and monitor energy consumption.

Big Data Visualization (Under Development)

Brand new 3D modeling and big data display using online map platform api technology, which gives decision makers more intuitive and more concentrated statistical results.
